Talent badges

Why reviews and badges matter

A badge next to a talent's name means at least one Instagram creator or brand has confirmed they worked together. Only the verified owner of the account can confirm a claim, so a badge is proof you can't buy or fake. The badge tier reflects the size of the largest account that verified the talent.

Recommended talent

Recommended is awarded automatically to talent with at least 5 verified clients and an average rating of 4★ or better. Highly Recommended needs 10 verified clients with the same rating. Badges update as the accounts that verified you grow.

How verification works

  1. Talent add a post or reel to their portfolio and tag the account it was made for.
  2. The account owner gets a request — in-app if they've verified their Instagram on igjobs, otherwise by link/email.
  3. The owner confirms (with an optional rating and review) or declines in Talent Review. When they confirm, every tagged post is checked against the content of their connected Instagram account.
  4. Only posts that are actually on the owner's account become ✓ Verified. A collaboration counts toward badges, Recommended and the leaderboards once at least one post was verified this way — an owner's word alone is not enough, and nobody can verify their own account.

False claims about your account? Decline them in Talent Review — the posts are removed from the talent's verified work — or report the profile.
